Ever evolving, ever watchful of the Human condition, one of Ireland's most intriguing female songwriters Juliet Turner returns to the stage with a new batch of songs to accompany her existing material.

The new material is thoughtful and less acerbic than some of her previous writing and the narrative lines running through the album are sympathetic and full of warmth

Down Cine Club presents Friday Night Movie:

Big screen Arts centre films with a series of 3 movies, each a multi-level study in corruption, demonstrating intelligent explorations of life's darker corners. Each contains rare energy, exuberant panache and beautiful structures. In short, three great stories memorably told.

Join tutor Jonny Pedlow and learn to play finger style chords and rhythms, from basic to advanced level in group lesson where all abilities are catered for.

Modern Egyptian Bellydance

Learn the basics of Bellydance in a relaxed and fun way with Karen Mallon. Participants will learn shimmies, pops and drops to the latest Arabis tunes.

No experience needed, just a sense of humour! Wear loose clothing and bare feet or soft ballet type shoes. Karren Mallon has trained with the top dancers in the UK and Egypt, and has completed the only recognised teacher training in Egyptian Bellydance.

Dawn chorus at Delamont Country Park

Celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day - learn to recognise birds form their song on a guided walk around Delamont Country Park, followed by tea and scones in the Heron's Nest. Bring binoculars if you have them. Run by the Ulster Wildlife Trust in conjunction with the Down District Council.

A fun day out for you and your dog.
